"My approach is rooted in the ingredients. I want every dish to reflect the season, the land, and the hands that grew it.”
Chef Evan Neumann brings refined French technique and a deep respect for seasonality to one-Michelin-starred Auro at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley. Raised in Provence, he began cooking professionally at just fourteen before honing his craft in celebrated kitchens including Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo with Joël Robuchon, La Dame de Pic — Le 1920 at Four Seasons Hotel Megève, and Restaurant Daniel in New York. Having worked across restaurants holding eleven Michelin stars, Neumann’s cuisine is shaped by exceptional ingredients, precise technique and the character of place, with influences from Provence, Japan and Mexico informing his distinctive approach.
