Athens to Palermo: The Ionian & Southern Italy
Depart Athens for Spétsai (Spetses), a car-free island of grand captains’ mansions, horse-drawn carriages, and pine-scented coves, with an evening to enjoy its lively waterfront. After a day at sea, arrive in Zakynthos for an extended stay, where Venetian-era architecture, dramatic sea caves, and secluded white-sand beaches showcase the beauty of the Ionian. A Marina Day along the Italian coast brings time on the water before reaching Tropea, perched above the turquoise waters of Calabria. The voyage concludes in Palermo, where grand piazzas, ornate palaces, and a rich culinary heritage offer a lively introduction to Sicily’s capital.
